Dentaid has a host of opportunities for fabulous fundraisers who want to support our work. We have places in some of the country’s most prestigious, Covid-secure, fundraising events or we can support you if you would like to come up with your own way of raising funds.
We are always happy to help practices and individuals who chose to support us. We can send you posters, balloons, wristbands and t-shirts to make sure everyone knows you are fundraising for Dentaid.
Dentaid is fortunate to be supported by many leading dental companies and dental students who regularly hold events to support us. Please get in touch with our events fundraiser Kelle to find out more.Email Kelle

Run, walk, jog, cycle or even skip 32km and raise vital funds for Dentaid. Sadly, the third lockdown has again hampered our fundraising programme but that doesn’t stop you from joining in at home or as part of your daily exercise. And since adults typically have 32 teeth, we thought that one kilometre per tooth was a great way to start this virtual fundraising challenge. Or it’s 20 miles if that makes it sound more manageable! And you can complete the challenge over as many exercise sessions as you like.
Signing up to the 32km challenge costs £40 and everyone who takes part will receive a medal.
15 Mile Challenge
How far would you walk to visit the dentist? This boy and his father walked 15 miles across No Man’s Land from Rwanda to Uganda to visit a Dentaid clinic. We’re asking our amazing fundraisers to match this distance and swim, run, jog or walk 15 miles for Dentaid.
You can join the challenge as an individual or as part of a team and we’re asking you to raise £100 sponsorship for Dentaid along the way.

Rosette’s Smile Appeal
Dentaid has launched an appeal to help Rosette. Rosette is a single mother from Rubaya in Uganda who works tirelessly on a small patch of land to provide for her six children. She has no other income. For the last four years, Rosette has been suffering with this terrible facial swelling -a condition which causes her great pain.
Dentaid has funded initial investigations where it was confirmed that Rosette has a cystic ameloblastoma, a non-cancerous tumour that will require surgical removal. £2000 will pay for treatment that will change her life. She’ll be able to smile, eat and live without constant pain.
