Training :: Engineer Training
By training indigenous workers to repair dental equipment we aim to increase the longevity of dental equipment in developing countries.
Dental equipment, like any other, can break down. When it does, the expertise to fix it can be very hard to find in developing countries.

We have established a Dental Engineer Training Course to pass on the right skills and knowledge to engineers in developing countries. The course was initially piloted with engineers from the Tanzanian Government receiving the training at Dentaid HQ in England.

It was then put into practice overseas in 2006 with 15 engineers being trained in Uganda and then 14 in the Cameroon in 2007. All are now able to service and repair dental equipment in clinics that they are responsible for.
